the cure for christmas chaos

Blake Scafidel's musical experiences have paralleled his life experiences--navigating through chaos, facing rejection, overcoming mistakes, and--most importantly--believing in himself.  Beginning his experience at the piano at the age of five, this Mississippi native developed a reflective, contemporary classic music style.  Blake's influences include Ólafur Arnalds, John Williams, Hans Zimmer, and Dino Kartsonakis.  He received the Mississippi Arts Commission fellowship in 2008 for several compositions.  Blake just released his Christmas album, "The Cure for Christmas Chaos," which includes solo and orchestral arrangements of Christmas favorites in addition to two original compositions.
